Mayones from Gdansk, Poland, specialize in building handcrafted and custom guitars and basses. For a long time, the Duvell Elite has been one of their most popular models. We just got this one in, and as always, we were blown away by the craftsmanship, finish, feel and tone. The Eye Poplar top on this one is particularly stunning.
The Duvell Elite is double cutaway guitar with a Mahogany body, 24 frets, two humbuckers and a single volume knob. Its low body mass and bolt-on neck give the guitar a very direct sound. Unlike the standard Duvell, the Duvell Elite has an eye poplar top and an ebony fingerboard. This specific 6-string version of the Duvell Elite has a Trans Black Burst finish, which beautifully enhances the looks of the figured wood. The guitar is equipped with Mayones TKO humbuckers by Bare Knuckle.
The Mayones Duvell Elite 6 is a truly stunning masterpiece of musical engineering.
