Pre Owned 2005 Fender Custom Shop 1969 Telecaster Thinline Firemist Silver With OHSC

We just took in an absolutely sublime Fender Custom Shop Tele - and it's in a color rarely seen.  It's a 1969 Thinline Telecaster in Firemist Silver and it's a true winner.

This Fender Custom Shop NOS '69 Tele Thinline was built in 2005, as part of the Time Machine series, and is in excellent condition.  Other than a single barely noticeable ding on the body (only in the finish; no wood exposed), there's not much that would make you think it's not a brand new guitar.  It seems as though the previous owner barely played it, as evidenced by how good the neck and frets look.   Incredible tone comes from the Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, which are built to produce hot output for blistering leads, along with noticeable presence and midrange.  They also clean up nicely, making it very versatile guitar.  The maple neck sports a 60 Style Oval "C" profile, the most popular choice for Custom Shop guitars.  With a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, it's comfortable to play without the worry of fretting out.  That, along with the pickups, give this vintage styled guitar just the right amount of modernization.
