Pre Owned 2010 Taylor 12-Fret Acoustic Electric With OHSC

We have a super nice acoustic to present, one that's perfect for fans of Taylor as well as anyone looking for a high quality American made guitar that's suitable for a variety of styles.  The model is a Taylor 12-Fret (yes, that's the full name of it).  It's a Grand Concert with a cutaway, slotted headstock and electronics.

 

Serial # 1108310124 indicates it was built in 2010, which is the first year that Taylor did a 12 fret guitar like this.  The comparable model in their current lineup would be an 812ce 12-fret.  You won't see a lot of these around, especially in such nice condition.

 

This Taylor 12-fret sounds amazing acoustically, but also is perfect for plugging in thanks to Taylor's Expression system.  Featuring all solid woods, this guitar has a beautiful Sitka Spruce top along with Indian Rosewood back & sides.  It's really resonant and we noticed right away how balanced the tone is.  The Mahogany neck with an Ebony fretboard is smooth and easy to play.  It's topped by a slotted headstock and Antique Gold tuners with Ivoroid buttons, something you don't see on a lot of Taylor guitars.   The cutaway gives you easy access to the upper register, and this guitar is a joy to play.

The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, and is in excellent condition.  It's been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  To make it ideal, we did a fret leveling and recrowning, and also made a fitted saddle.  That really improved the guitar - it's even better than before now!
