Pre Owned Guild F-512 Maple 12-String Acoustic Electric Guitar Antique Burst With OHSC

Up for sale is one of the most famous acoustic 12-strings ever made, the Guild F-512.  This guitar was made famous by Tom Petty, David Gilmour and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a prime example of the 12-string sound of the 1960s.  You don't see many of these out there, especially not in as nice as this one.

Crafted in California, the F-512E boasts a jumbo shape and a solid Sitka spruce top with a flamed maple back and sides. Using the same arch press method utilized in Guild's manufacturing since 1985, the F-512 Maple delivers precise and clear trebles, along with a defined mid-range, ideal for achieving a rich, resonant sound. With scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, this guitar produces the distinct shimmering highs that Guild 12-strings are renowned for.

You get the best of sturdy construction and excellent projection. This 12-string will give you rich deep lows, punchy mids, and shimmering highs. With its nitrocellulose finish you get an instrument that is open and airy and will age perfectly. 

This bombastic 12-string acoustic has been upgraded with an LR Baggs pickup transforming this into an acoustic electric.  So, if you're looking to plug in, this guitar is the way to go.

This guitar is in great condition - there's a touch of player wear but nothing major.  The techs in our shop have set it up play perfectly (especially important on a 12-string).  The original hardshell case is included.  For anyone looking for an upgraded Guild F-512, this cannot be beat.
