You get two channels, one Clean, one Gain, so you get the best of both worlds. There is an expansive set of controls; Gain, Edge, Level, Bass, Treble, Brilliance, and Master. You can utilize the Master and Level controls to get a wide range of overdriven tones at many different volume levels. So if you want great drive at bedroom levels or cranked up for stage this amp has got you covered. The EF86 preamp brings you that classic breakup range.
