This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis.  Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group.  Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories. This particular instrument comes with the following:

The guitar has been customized with an aftermarket set of knobs and bullet switch tip. A gig bag is included.  Inside of it you'll find a nice strap and cable.

This Epiphone Les Paul Standard features a stunning AA quilt maple top finished with a luscious trans blue finish with cream binding matched with a mahogany body for the perfect pairing of tonewoods. The quilt maple top gives you the perfect snap to balance the warmth of the body. You get a mahogany neck with a comfortable SlimTaper D-profile. It comes with its pau ferro fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a 1.693" nut width, and 24.75" scale, which all creates an extremely comfortable feel for whatever style of playing.  you that provides fast, easy playability.

This guitar is stacked with ProBucker pickups that provide a thick, articulate tones heavily inspired by vintage PAF humbuckers. These pickups have lower-output Alnico II magnets to achieve warm tones with excellent clarity with string to string definition. 

With its Grover tuners, a LockTone ABR Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and Graph Tech nut, this Epiphone Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt Top is packed with high-quality components.
