Pre Owned Tungsten Cortez 5E3 Circuit 12-Watt Tweed Guitar Amp Combo With Cover

Much like the rare metal its named for this Tungsten Cortez is an amp with plenty of power with tones of high melting point. This is a 1x12" all-tube combo that has the best of vintage-style appointments with modern advances in amp construction. Think of a your favorite vintage tweed amps with powerful modern upgrades. 

The Tungsten Cortez pumps out 12-watts with 6V6 power tubes that can be swapped with 6L6 tubes for 18-watts making it incredibly versatile. It comes with the legendary Mercury Magnetics transformers with a vintage-style 5Y3 rectifier. Its custom 12" Weber T12Q Alnico speaker pumps out the tones with ease and with a warmth and fullness that really captures this amp purest tones.

With a single Tone knob, Bright and Normal Volume controls, and four inputs, this cathode-biased amp allows effortless power tube swaps without re-biasing. Its preamp section supports various tubes (12AX7, 12AU7, 12AY7, 12AT7, 5751), offering extensive tonal flexibility. This amp can easily perform warm clean tones but really shines with its overdriven and punchy distortion.
