From the great builders in Japan comes this Yamaha SA2200 from 2006! This Cherry Sunburst semi-hollow body is packed with great tones, resonant tone woods, and premium components, all to give an exceptional instrument.

The body of the Yamaha SA2200 is composed of a resonant semi-hollow flame maple body that has incredible acoustics and lush gloss cherry sunburst finish that is expertly double-bound with a tasty cream binding. The bound mahogany neck has the comfy "C" neck profile with an ebony fingerboard and exquisite block inlays. The headstock features a volute as well for improved durability, binding and Yamaha name and logo inlays.

Packed with a pair of humbuckers, this Yamaha SA2200 is the perfect blend of semi-hollow acoustic resonance with powerful pickups. These humbuckers give you thick rich tones that are perfect for any style of playing, whether you go clean or distorted. The individual pickup controls and 3-way switch make finding your sounds super easy. The stopbar tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge provide strong support, sustain, and you can easily maintain intonation. This Yamaha comes with large button Schaller tuners to keep you in tune.
