They did by taking all the goodness of that huge Binson Echorec and squeeze it down into a standard sized stompbox without losing anything. In fact, in addition to not losing any of the qualities that made it such a compelling musical device, they extended its capabilities by addding variable delay time. Emulating four different heads leads to a variety rhythmic patterns. The tone is warm and lush, think David Gilmour early Pink Floyd and you have an expressive, dynamic delays.
