Used Hofner Contemporary HCT-500/1 Violin Bass Sunburst with Case

Up for sale is this great Hofner Contemporary HCT-500/1 Violin Bass, the affordable version of an all-time classic.  The Hofner Violin Bass is one of the most iconic basses ever made. As famously played by as such as artists as Paul McCartney, this semi-hollow body bass is lightweight, comfortable, and has truly distinct tone. This bass features two pickups that give you classic tone, with a feel that's unique to itself.

We just took this one in, after it was bought here by a young bass player a couple of years ago.  We love seeing instruments like this come back when the player is stepping up to another Hoftner.  

The bass in very good condition, with some dings on the body, and comes with a nice hardshell case.  It has been vetted and setup by the techs in our shop to play perfectly.  It's strung with flats, just as it should be!  For anyone that's looking for a good deal on a Violin bass with a case, this is quite the score.
